Now, months after its release, Remedy Entertainment is still supporting the game with updates.
The most important change inAlan Wake 2’snew update 1.15 is the introduction of the Chapter Select feature. Now, players will be able to replay any mission they have previously unlocked. However, they will use a pre-made save game regardless of their own progression, which means that their items will be pre-determined. The rest of the patch follows the trend ofpreviousAlan Wake 2updates, mostly fixing several bugs that were still in the game, and tweaking UI and graphics to improve the overall experience.
Some of the fixes include solving problems with New Game Plus, adding missing descriptions for case files in Saga’s Mind Place, and preventing explosions from damaging enemies through doors. The otherAlan Wake 2DLC will be The Lake House, which is scheduled to be released later in 2024. It seems like this DLC will expand Remedy’s shared universe, focusing on the Federal Bureau of Control (FBC). The FBC was previously featured in bothAlan Wake 2andControl, and it’s a secret government institution that investigates all kinds of paranormal threats.
