PlayStation 5 owners are now just a few days away from getting to experience the next first party exclusiveRatchet and Clank: Rift Apart. Insomniac Games is returning to the fan favoriteRatchet and Clankfranchise, this time taking advantage of the PlayStation 5 hardware. In addition to near-instant loading, the game task advantage of the system’s HDR and 4K capabilities as well as Tempest 3D audio and theDualSense controller’s haptic feedbackand adaptive triggers.

One of the biggest changes to the series this time around is the reveal of dual protagonists. When Ratchet and Clank get separated due to Dr. Nefarious taking advantage of a catastrophic dimensional collapse, the arrive in a world where the villain has finally won and became emperor. Clank is discovered bya female lombax known as Rivetand based on the most recent State of Play, players will be switching between Rivet and Ratchet as they traverse through rifts and battle enemies with the series' trademark unique weaponry.

WithRatchet and Clank: Rift Apartset to launch on June 11 for the PlayStation 5, Insomniac has a couple of different versions for fans to pick from. Here’s what players need to know about the preorder bonuses and the various editions of the game.

Pre-Order Bonuses

Earlier this year, Sony and Insomniac revealed what sort of goodies players would be receiving for putting down money on the game prior to launch. For those who already have the game pre-orders or are planning to do so before June 11, they’ll unlock theCarbonox armor fromRatchet and Clank: Going Commandoas well as the Pixelizer weapon from 2016’sRatchet and Clank.

However, Insomniac didn’t stop with just adding these items back from past games. Both the Carbonox Armor and Pixelizer have been graphically updated using high definition materials as well as ray-traced reflections.

For those picking up a physical copy of the game, the Launch Edition comes with a voucher for both items with a code that will need to be entered from the PlayStation Store.

In addition to the previously mentioned Launch Edition, PlayStation 5 owners have two different versions ofRatchet and Clank: Rift Apartto pick from. In addition to the base version of the game, there’s also aDigital Deluxe Edition for those who want a bit more contentat a slightly higher price point.

For those who drop another ten dollars on the game, they can pick up the deluxe version. It’s worth noting that this is only offered as a digital version, so players won’t find this available from stores.

In addition to the base game, this version ofRatchet and Clank: Rift Apartcomes with all sorts of digital goodies from concept art, the game’s soundtrack, as well as in game items like Raritanium, and other in-game upgrade items.Rivet also gains the Rebel and Hacker armor, while Ratchet earns the Android, Imperial, and Scavenger armor sets.
