More so than any other main seriesAnimal Crossinggame,Animal Crossing: New Horizonsputs an emphasis on player customization. Players have more options than ever before when it comes to designing their villager, and this includes creating their very own custom apparel.Animal Crossing: New Horizonsplayer and Twitter user TheTokuvian has been busy designing t-shirts in the game, and they’ve put together some impressive designs based onPower Rangers/Super Sentai.
TheTokuvian’s designs draw inspiration from some of the earlierPower Rangersseries, includingMMPR,In Space,Lost Galaxy, andTime Force. A couple of the shirts are based onSuper Sentaiseries that have yet to be adapted for American audiences, such asKaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai PatrangerandKishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger.

Unfortunately forPower RangersandSuper Sentaifans who want TheTokuivan’s shirts, they’ll have to make them themselves. TheTokuvian has evidently not progressed far enough in the game to be able to upload hisAnimal Crossing: New Horizonscreations, which isn’t possible until players unlockMabel and Sabel and their Able Sisters shop.
This is far from the first time fans have madePower Rangerscreations for unrelated video games. Many video games with creation tools like this wind up withPower Rangers-inspired creations in one form or another, especially when the games allow for character creation. One of the more notable examples includesSoulcalibur 6’s White Ranger, which was created by a DeviantArt user named monkeygigabuster last year.
In the meantime, it will be interesting to see what other impressive creationsAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsplayers manage to create using the game’s design tools. And as more players progress throughAnimal Crossing: New Horizons’first weekand start to unlock the ability to upload creations, it should be much easier for fans to find their favorite clothing designs. This way they won’t have to attempt to create the shirts by copying other players, and will simply be able to download the creations into their own game.
For those wanting to check out TheTokuvian’sAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsdesigns, here’s hoping he reaches that point sooner rather than later.
Animal Crossing: New Horizonsis out now, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
