Part of these updates include new additions toHelldivers 2’s permanent Battle Pass, which allows players to purchase new weapons and gear by trading in Medals and other currency gained during regular gameplay. This stands apart fromother live-service games likeHalo Infinite, which have their players advance their Battle Pass through an XP progression system.Helldivers 2’s Warbond system has been seen as both a blessing and a curse among fans, as while it eliminates the need for time-specific seasonal events, it also requires a hefty grind and could discourage solo play.
Helldivers 2fans can look forward to a new Premium Warbond on April 11. This battle pass extension is code-named “Democratic Detonation” and will grant players access to a host ofnewHelldivers 2weapons, armor, and cosmetic items. The new primary weapons include theBR-14 Adjudicator Rifle, which fires armor-piercing rounds and works best against small groups of enemies. There’s also the R-36 Eruptor Rifle, a bolt-action gun that fires jet-assisted shells that explode shrapnel in all directions – including the player’s if they aren’t careful. Lastly, the CB-9 Exploding Crossbow will unleash powerful exploding bolts that dish out maximum damage upon impact.

Helldivers 2’s next Warbond will also introduce ahost of secondary weaponsincluding the G-123 Thermite Grenades, which can stick to surfaces before heating things to 2,000°C. The GP-31 Grenade Pistol does exactly what its name implies by firing grenades at unlucky enemies. For those who need to flee the battlefield in a hurry, the soon-to-be-added Expert Extraction Pilot Booster lowers the amount of time it takes for an extraction shuttle to reach the extraction beacon.
The soldiers of Super Earth will also look fiercer than ever when this new Warbond launches thanks to itsnewHelldivers 2armorand cosmetics. The new armor suits consist of the CE-27 Ground Breaker (Medium), CE-07 Demolition Specialist (Light), and FS-55 Devastator (Heavy). Players will also be able to accessorize with three new capes: Harbinger of True Equality, Eagle’s Fury, and Freedom’s Tapestry. All of this new content will be available toHelldivers 2players on April 11.
