As forBattlefield 3itself, the game is easily one of the most popular releases in the franchise to date, with a strong fanbase behind it and some notable sales figures. The franchise will continue next year, with EA announcing that DICE is working on a follow-up that will allegedly be on a"never-before-seen scale.“Considering 2021 will likely welcome an influx of major titles that take full advantage of the power of the next-generation consoles, it seemsBattlefieldwill be using that to make its biggest game yet. Until then,Battlefield 3is a pretty solid reminder of why the franchise is one of the biggest in the modern FPS scene.
