9Drag Weapons

Dragging weapons or objects is a quick and efficient way of grabbing weapons without necessarily needing to be stood right next to them. Using an Xbox controller, players can press the RB button to quickly drag any pickup-able weapon or object towards their spidertelekinesis-style from most distances.

Dragging weapons enables players to beat the rush to the best ones and is also helpful when trying to avoid other players and bugs out on a mission to search and destroy, as players can quickly grab their weapon between web-slinging.

7Spin Or Waft Laser Swords

Laser swords inSpiderheckare super cool and fun to use and may remind some players oflightsabers fromStar Wars, particularly the double-ended laser swords. It’s best to gently waft the laser swords to swot away the fire-fly-like bugs with ease or even spin swords continuously by turning the right stick on an Xbox controller to dominate over spinning wheels or players.

5Watch Out For Explosives

Whether a beginner player or becoming a more masterful spider, it’s essential to watch out for explosives and get out of the way. There are many kinds of weapons in the game which cause explosions, including rocket launchers and throwable mines, so players must be careful when aiming and throwing explosives to avoid the blast.

AsSpiderheckis a physics-based game, the force of explosions can also projectile players into the abyss, so it’s critical to practice web-slinging to know how to maneuver far enough from trouble.

Explosion In Spiderheck

When using an Xbox controller, if players keep hold of the right trigger button while web-slinging underneath a platform, they can gracefully spin round and land on the top of the ledge in a pivot landing that would have any gymnast clapping.

3Be Aware Of Obstacles

Players may sometimes see large boxes dotted about many of the various levels, but these are much too big for spiders to lift. They mainly serve as obstacles to climb up and hide behind, or they can simply get in the way.

Box obstacles are best used defensively to help get away from flying bugs or projectile attacks, as long as players don’t end up tripping over themselves too much going past them. Either way, it’s good to be aware of their location and avoid them where possible.

If players are in danger of falling out of the level into the fiery void below, they can web sling onto a platform with a bounce pad and use it to reposition themselves.

1Shoot Em’Up

Apart from the laser swords, one of the quickest ways to take down other players and enemies is to shoot them from a safe distance with one of the various futuristic-style guns. These come in all shapes and sizes from tiny blasters to giant rail-style lasers.

Mastering how to aim is key, especially moving targets, but some shots spread and are likely to catch other players and bugs in the crossfire. This can be beneficial for beginner players getting used to the game until they become more confident with close-range combat.
