Spider-Man: Miles Moralesreleased earlier this month, and fans have been loving the game. Taking place after the events ofMarvel’s Spider-Man,the story followsMiles on his journey to becoming a hero just as responsible as Peter Parker. He fights against the Underground and their leader, the Tinkerer, as well as their enemies, Roxxon. Trying to stop the fight between the two groups was a difficult task that changed Miles' life.

16"I Promise To Do Everything In My Power To Protect This City."
After Miles defeats Rhino at the start of the game, Peter and Miles meet Simon Krieger briefly before letting the police handle the rest. Then, they get away and have an important conversation about how Peter is going to be away for a while.
Without Peter around, Miles is going to be handling the city on his own during that time. Peter asks him to take an oath, promising that he will do everything he can to keep the city safe while he’s done. This is a build-up to the upcoming adventures that Miles has to face off against for the rest of the game - a major responsibility as the only Spider-Man in the city.
15"I’ve Been Taking On A Lot More Responsibilities Than I Can Handle Lately. Made Me Push My Friends Away. But I’m Here To Fix That."
After Miles reunites with his old friend, Phin, the two wonder why they stopped being so close. He finds out that sheis the Tinkererand confronts her about it, pretending to want to join the Underground and work with her to avenge her brother against Roxxon.
When she asked him why he grew distant, this was his response, hiding the fact that he is the spider she despises. This is an important moment for the plot that will unfold soon after the conversation.
14"Roxxon: Zero. Spider-Man: I Lost Count."
After completing another side mission successfully, Miles will flex on how good he’s doing against the bad guys. These moments and comments are typical in any Spider-Man game or movie.
His training and the fact that he’s been taking on more difficult opponents prove to be paying off and there’s no doubt about it as the audience sees his confidence grows. And that’s what makes it this line so great, even though it’s simple, it’s nice to hear this since players can finally see some positivity and self-assurance in this boy. Miles will continue to face off against fearsome bad guys and come out on top.
13"Really Feel Like My Gaming Rig Is Underpowered Right Now."
Humor has always been a crucial part of this Universe — it helps lighten up the mood even the situations that players tend to feel the tensest. In this part of the game, Miles is under a lot of stress, trying to reach Phin before it’s too late.
But even in this situation, the game throws some of its trademark humor at players as Miles' best friend, Ganke, talks about how her secret lair makes him feel embarrassed of his gaming setup. Miles then comments how “Phin’s going full supervillain lair, here.”
12"You’re Using Words Longer Than ‘Crush’ And ‘Smash.’ Very Unexpected."
While fighting Rhino, the mighty beast keeps trying to insult Miles and undermines him constantly. However, Miles always enjoys teasing his opponents as well and takes the chance by mocking Rhino’s lacking vocabulary. Rhino might be tough and intimidating but he’s certainly not the smartest boss in the game. It’s always great to hear these clever combats from Miles; it can get a good laugh out of players from time to time and it also lightens the mood when dealing with enemies.
11"Dammit, Miles, I’m Not Gonna Lose You Too."
After being in a bad situation, Miles and The Prowler talk it out. Miles is upset and confronts his uncle but it turns out all he wanted was to protect Miles and make sure he was safe at the end of the day. It was a tough choice and it hurt his nephew but he couldn’t stand losing him.
This isn’t an uncommon situation - it’s something that many family members and friends have to go through in their life from time to time. Sometimes hurting the ones they love the most can be the only option when it comes to protecting them.
10"My Mom Would Be Very Upset."
When Miles and Phin fight each other, she grabs him and slams him down on the top of a building. Ready to end her enemy, she brought her blade to his head and said “Give me one good reason not to end you.”
This was Miles' response as he removed his mask, finally showing her who he really is. A decisive and tear-jerking moment at a point in the game that everyone had been anxiously waiting for.
9"I Have To Finish What They Started."
This quote may sound cliché, but it’s actually more important than it sounds. After getting Phin’s phone and watching the video on it, Miles finds out how Phin and Rick were trying to save sick people.
Despite their noble pursuit, Simon Krieger killed Rick to stop them. Miles then swears to finish their mission - once again, here it’s possible to see just how noble Miles is and what makes fans fall in love with this character so easily.
8"People Get Stupid When They Care About Someone. Like You’re Being Stupid Now."
When Miles learns that his uncle Aaron is the Prowler, the two team up. Aaron already knew that Miles was Spider-Man and wanted to help him, even though the two had opposing ideas on what needed to be done. This goes to show that in the end, family is important even if it’s the Prowler and Spider-Man; sometimes family has to stick together for the greater good even when they don’t agree on everything.

Aaron was the one that convinced Miles to pretend to want to join the Underground and help Phin. While Miles considered telling her the truth, Aaron thought it was a bad idea.
7"Whenever You Say ‘Spider-Man,’ You Always Mean The Other One. You’re Spider-Man. You Can Fix This, Your Way."
Miles receives a lot of help from his best friend, Ganke, throughout the game. After being blamed for the destruction of a bridge, Miles feels bad and wishes that he could do more to help,comparing himself to Peter. Ganke is able to get his friend to stop doing this and helped him become the greatest hero that he could be.
