Summary
Bosch: Legacyis returning to television screens in the near future, with filming wrapped on season 3 of the Amazon Freevee crime series. There were many plot threads set up in the previous series that fans are eager to see developed further in the upcoming season, withmany characters confirmed to return, and others being kept under wraps.
The end of Season 2 saw Harry Bosch being confronted by his cop daughter, Maddie, after she intercepted a call from a convicted felon calledPreston Borders, who claimed he conspired with Harry to kill Kurt Dockweiler. In other storylines, Honey Chandler confirmed her plans to run for district attorney, while Maurice ‘Mo’ Bassi had a big decision to make on whether to co-operate with the FBI or remain loyal to Bosch and Chandler.

There would be noBosch: Legacywithout the titular main character, Harry Bosch, who will continue his new career as a private investigator after quitting the LAPD under a cloud at the end of the originalBoschseries.
Titus Welliver has played Harry Bosch for over a decade now, and there are no signs of him giving up the role anytime soon, and he is also set to make guest appearances in the debut season of theRenee Ballardspin-off series.
Honey Chandler
HoneyChandler’s role in the books was very differentto her appearances in theBoschandBosch: Legacytelevision shows, as she featured more heavily, andChandler is set for an even more prominent role inBosch: Legacyseason 3, as the defense lawyer launches a run for district attorney.
Chandler and Harry Bosch were once sworn enemies, but their relationship has developed into a very successful business partnership, after working together closely on a number of cases, including theLexi Parksmurder. Mimi Rogers has played Chandler since the very first episode ofBosch, starting off in a recurring role, before being promoted to a series regular, and rising to a co-lead in the spin-off show,Bosch: Legacy.
Maddie Bosch
When the originalBoschseries began, Harry Bosch had a distant relationship with his daughter, Maddie, but as the years went by, they developed a very special bond with each other. Maddie followed in her father’s footsteps and joined the LAPD inBosch: Legacyseason 1, andshe will continue her role in theCrime Reduction UnitinBosch: Legacyseason 3.
Madison Lintz has risen to co-lead in the spin-off series, and is a very important character in the Bosch universe, with the potential for her to become a detective as the series progresses.
Maurice ‘Mo’ Bassi
The jazz-loving tech whizz,Maurice ‘Mo’ Bassi, was a new character addition inBosch: Legacy, and has become a fan favorite, and a vital part of Harry Bosch’s operations, often providing the key bit of information needed to solve the cases.
His loyalty toBosch and Chandlerwas put to the test at the end of Bosch: Legacy season 2, with FBI Agent Baron trying to get him to turn on his employers. Season 3 will likely reveal whether the expert hacker decides to turn on them, or remain loyal.Chang will once again return as Mo Bassi inBosch: Legacyseason 3.
Reina Vasquez
Denise G. Sanchez was another new addition to the cast ofBosch: Legacy, playing Maddie Bosch’s training officer,Reina Vasquez. She has become a vital part of the spin-off show, and season 2 teased an even bigger role for her inBosch: Legacyseason 3.
