Call of Duty: Mobileis taking a page out of its console counterpart’s (Call of Duty: Warzone) book by adding some of the game’s popular features. Perhaps the most notable additions are theinclusion of both the popular Gulag mapand the Gunfight game mode as part of season 7.

The Gulag has been one ofCall of Duty: Warzone’s many claims to fame, as the idea was unique and mixed up what most battle royale fans were familiar with. Likewise, Gunfight has always been a popular game mode inModern Warfare, so it is no surprise that fans are excited to see that inCall of Duty: Mobileas well.

The information comes by way of the officialCall of Duty: Mobileseason 7 roadmap, which further describes that both of these changes will be coming sometime in late June, meaning fans don’t even have to wait for next month to start enjoying these.

The season 7 roadmap shows a bunch of other new features as well, including a map expansion for the battle royale game mode, the introduction of tanks to that same mode, a new multiplayer map called Tunisia, and two new weapons, the Man O War and the QQ9, all of which is added right at the start of the season. Throughout the season, fans will gain access to Gulag and Gunfight as previously mentioned in addition to anew battle royale event, Attack of the Undead, and some new in game content as well.

It’s worth noting that the Gulag will play a different role inCall of Duty: Mobilethan what it does inWarzone, as it won’t be featured as a way for players to respawn in battle royale. Instead, the Gulag will be aGunfight specific map, allowing players to jump into the Gulag at will and continue engaging in tense battles with enemies. This doesn’t necessarily rule out the potential for the Gulag playing a role inCall of Duty: Mobile’s battle royale mode, but at the moment that is all it will be for. Still, many players love the intense nature of Gulag fights, so having this available as its own gamemode is a great idea.

Call of Duty: Mobilehas thoroughly impressed most fans ofCall of Dutyfans, as not many thought that it would be as fun as it is. This, coupled with the game’s frequent updates and new content, has worked to make the game a very popular mobile offering.
