A Reddit user has shared a clip of them loading into a match ofCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2on the Santa Sena Border Crossing map. Everything seems to be running smoothly, as the video shows them selecting a loadout, but they somehow end up dying before the countdown ends. The same incident occurs a moment later, as the player dies for a second time seconds before the beginning of the match. Fans can see a confirmation of the deaths on the left side of the screen as further proof of this bizarre event, but it looks like they were able to play properly after the match had started.

Gamers in the comments section jokingly state that these two deaths are due to a skill issue, with one mentioning that this method is a good way to balance out thekill-to-death ratio inModern Warfare 2. One fan claims that this is a common occurrence whenever users play a 10v10 game on Santa Sena Border Crossing, before wondering if these deaths count toward the total on the scoreboard.

While there isn’t a clear reason for this bug to happen inModern Warfare 2, it looks like the user glitched out and spawned inside a vehicle. So, the game may have killed them to reset their position, allowing them tospawn correctly before theModern Warfare 2match starts.

Season 2 Reloaded forWarzone 2andModern Warfare 2began on March 15, making a whole number of changes to the games. However, as seen in the video, it looks like some issues still remain, and it’s possible that new ones get introduced whenever Activision adds more content to theseCall of Dutytitles.
