According to them, this establishes even more than before that there’s a connection between the current universe and theBlack Opsone. In Call of Duty: Black Ops, Nova 6 is a chemical weapon developed by Nazi scientists and then used by other superpowers, such as the Soviets. It featured as a fairly important plot device in both the first and third titles of theBlack Opsseries, so its appearance is a major hint of the connected universe theory.
This is not even the first time that the Nova gas is featured in the series. Cod Lore Facts also pointed out that the previousModern Warfarehad Nova 4, which was employed by Al-Qatala during the storyline.
