Sledgehammer Games has revealed this week’s playlist forCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, which sees users play on Terminal and Departures in a variety of game modes. The new playlist goes live on March 13, whenCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3adds another new feature.
Modern Warfare 3is about to introduce itscrossover event withWarhammer 40K, which adds new content inspired by the popular sci-fi franchise. Beginning on March 13, users can unlock some of the new items by simply earning XP. Players who are willing to fork over some cash can purchase the Warhammer 40K Space Marines Tracker Pack Bundle, which includes two operator skins that can be equipped to earn bonus event XP.
Alongside the event’s March 13 launch,Modern Warfare 3is also adding a new playlist, Layovers 24/7. The playlist is airport-themed, as the name suggests, and sees users play on Terminal and Departures in Kill Confirmed, Team Deathmatch, Hardpoint, and Domination. The playlist’s theme allows for a solid combination of maps, as Terminal’s classic layout and Departures' more modern one should create an enjoyable mixture of gameplay. In case fans are unfamiliar, Departures was one of the maps added withModern Warfare 3’s Season 2 updatein early February. Other rotational playlists that are currently live include Small Map Mosh Pit, Das Haus 24/7, 12v12 Mosh Pit, and more.
Modern Warfare 3’s Newest Playlist
DuringCall of Duty’sWarhammer 40Kevent,Modern Warfare 3will also add a new limited-time mode called Juggermosh. Unlike the new Layovers 24/7 playlist, there is no countdown onModern Warfare 3’s main menu for Juggermosh, so it appears that it won’t be added tomorrow on March 13 with the event’s initial launch. However, the event runs until March 27, so there’s still plenty of time if it’s not added on March 13.
Layovers 24/7 and theWarhammer 40Kevent aren’t the only new additions toCall of Duty, asModern Warfare 3recently made a big changeto Stims. The tactical equipment now recharges after 25 seconds, allowing users to utilize its regenerative effects multiple times in one life. Additionally, players can equip the Demolition Vest to recharge Stims even faster, which amounts to about 12 seconds of waiting.
Later on in Season 2,Modern Warfare 3will also add new map variantsfor Skidrow and Terminal called Skidgrow and Airborne. The variants are tied to Season 2’s Vortex: Decay’s Realm event, which begins on March 27.
