Infinity Ward has constantly keptModern Warfare’s content fresh and updated throughout the title’s lifespan. In fact, just last week theJuly 7 update made changes to playlistsin both the standard multiplayer mode andWarzone. Infinity Ward has managed to keep Season 4’s content fresh for the most part now that the season is about halfway over with. Now, the available playlists are changing yet again, and Infinity Ward seems to be adding back two returning 24/7 map playlists.

Seeing as Infinity Ward recently held a double XP event featuring thefan favorite Shipment 24/7 playlist, it makes sense that the team would want to give it a rest before bringing it out once again. Instead, Shoot House and Cheshire Park 24/7 make their return with this most recent update. As mentioned above, Party Mode mosh pit is also being added featuring modes like Gun Game Reloaded, One in the Chamber, and All or Nothing. Additionally, Realism Ground War is added back alongside Team Deathmatch and Kill Confirmed Remix.

Finally, Warzone is also getting a small playlist update in that Battle Royale Stimulus Trios is getting swapped for Plunder Trios. While it’s nice to see constant playlist updates for both standard multiplayer andWarzone, some fans are asking for more. Many players think thatModern WarfareandWarzone’s modes need better balancingto really bring the most out of the multiplayer experience. More specifically, the weapon balance betweenWarzoneand standard multiplayer – which are two very different game modes – is essentially the same.

For now though, it seems that Infinity Ward is a bit more keen to address more incremental update requests from the community. Updates like tweaking overall weapon balance or addingnew weapons like the AN-94 assault rifle, which should be coming in a future update relatively soon. Until then, fans can enjoy the brand new playlist update rolling out now.

Call of Duty: Modern WarfareandWarzoneare out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
