While it also has Rebirth Island,Call of Duty: Warzone’s only full-sized battle royale map since launch is Verdansk. And while theCall of Duty:Warzonenuke event saw Verdansk revert to the 1980s, the map really hasn’t seen many dramatic changes. Reports indicate that will change with the launch of the leakedCall of Duty: Vanguardlater this year, as leakers believe that the current map is going to be replaced with a World War 2-themed map to matchVanguard’s setting.
Now there’s even more evidence of the newCall of Duty: Warzonemap. Dataminers have dug through theCall of Duty: WarzoneSeason 4 updatefiles, potentially discovering the entire list of the new World War 2 map’s Points of Interest. As discovered by dataminer Glitchy and shared by Nanikos on Twitter, it seems the newCall of Duty: WarzoneWW2 map will have at least 14 major locations for players to drop on when it supposedly debuts later this year.

According to the leak, here are all the locations for thenewCall of Duty: WarzoneWorld War 2 map. Fans should take this information with a grain of salt for now, as plans could change between now and whenCall of Duty: Vanguardreleases:
These leakedCall of Duty: Warzonenew map locations seem to back up the previous claim that the map would beset in the Pacific Theater of World War 2. Locations like Beach Head, Docks, Resort, and Subpen all point in that direction. The question remains whether or not this newCall of Duty: Warzonemap will be replacing Verdansk entirely, but more information on that should come in the months ahead.
As it stands, fans are still waiting for aCall of Duty: Vanguardreveal. The new game still has yet to be announced, though the reveal should take place at some point during this summer. It’s believed that theCall of Duty: Vanguardreveal will happen inWarzone, similarly to howCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warwas revealed usingWarzone, soCall of Dutyfans should pay close attention to the battle royale.
WhenCall of Duty: Vanguardis revealed, hopefully it comes with news on what the new game will mean forWarzone. Activision has already made it clear thatCall of Duty: Warzonewill integrate withVanguard, but fans are still waiting to learn the extent of that integration. If the leaks about the new map are accurate, it seems as thoughCall of Duty: Warzonewill be going all-in withVanguardlater this year.
