Players that enjoy fast paced gameplay will need to pair an SMG with a fast killing AR. Perks, tactical, and lethal equipment are also vital to playing Warzone aggressively. After a few weeks of testing, the FFAR 1 and MAC-10 are new new best guns to use at short to medium ranges.
MAC-10
Thebest SMG in the gameis the MAC-10. Although technically the MP5 has the same time to kill because of the MAC-10’s open bolt delay, the MAC-10 just feels better.

Players that have not unlocked all the attachments on the MAC-10 need to useXP tokensand get the weapon leveled up. Warzone players that are not using the MAC-10 will be killed by a MAC-10. The best attachments are displayed below.
FFAR 1
After theCold War update, the Groza and FFAR have emerged as two of the best close quarters assault rifles in the game. The FFAR is better up close, and even edges outthe powerful RAM-7in time to kill. Enemies that are less than 50 meters away will be erased by the incredible damage and fire rate of the FFAR. The recoil pattern on the gun is difficult to master, but controllable at close range. Similar to the Groza, the FFAR’s recoil pattern goes up and to the left, and after several rounds it curves up and to the right. With the right attachments, no assault rifle will beat the FFAR in a close engagement. Players can opt to use the gun’s iron sight, which is arguably the best among the Cold War assault rifles. The best attachments for the FFAR are listed below:
Perks
Players that want to play the game as quickly as possibleneed to have the correct perksand equipment to keep up the pace of play. To quite literally increase the pace, players may want to increase sprintout time by running double time in the first perk slot. Double time increases the duration of tactical sprint and increases crouch movement speed by 30%. E.O.D. is the best first tier perk, however. Players that know how to effectively slide cancel do not need double time, and E.O.D. allows players to absorb multiple grenades or rockets without getting downed. E.O.D. is especially effective in buildings when an enemy team is camping.

Aggressive players should run overkill in the second slot to get both the MAC-10 and FFAR. Pinging on the radar early in the game should not be a problem for players that want to push enemies and fight up close. Additionally, players are complaining thatthe ghost perk is not working. In the third slot, players can choose between battle hardened or amped. Battle hardened will protect players from being taken out of the fight with gas, stun, or flash grenades. However, amped improves weapon swap significantly, and can help players fighting multiple enemies at different ranges.
Lethal and Tactical Equipment
After the C4 nerf, Semtex grenades are the most effective way to confirm kills and breach buildings. Players should use Semtex grenades to prevent enemies from self reviving. The grenades are a good way to blast open doors and catch enemies off guard before firing shots. Fast paced players will need to use stun or flash grenades to gain an advantage when sprinting at opponents. Playing Warzone quickly often requires players to attack teams that are stagnant in a building or house. Flashes and stuns will help players take out corner campers. A number of professional Warzone players and streamers use heartbeat sensors, but in squads, it is useless for multiple players to have heartbeat sensors. At this point in the life cycle of Warzone, most players will have ghost and the sensor will be pointless.
