There have been a number of rumors about a newCrash Bandicootgame. Apparently it’s been in development for at least three years, and it may even have a PvP element. There’s also rumors thatCrash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortexis getting a remaster, though evidence of that has yet to surface beyond random Internet rumors.

Considering the success ofCrash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy, it makes sense for Activision to revive the franchise with a brand new entry. And considering how the originalCrash Bandicootis one of the PS1’s most-defining games, it would be fitting to see the newCrashdebut on the PS5.

If a newCrash Bandicootgame is being announced alongside the other PS5 games today, it seems like it will be a huge day for Activision. Not only is the company rumored to be showing off the newCrash Bandicoot, but the general consensus is that it will also be revealing thelong-awaitedCall of Duty 2020. While it’s still possible that neither game will be shown at the PS5 game reveal event, fans may want to tune in just in case.
