Pokemon SwordandShieldjust launched its first DLC expansion, The Isle of Armor, giving fans a new area to explore and new Pokemon to add to their collection. Now it appears as though the upcoming Crown Tundra DLC is set to add even more Pokemon to the mix, with many of them being legendary Pokemon that are currently unavailable to catch in thePokemon SwordandShieldbase game.
A new datamine by Twitter user SciresM has leaked thatPokemon SwordandShield’s Crown Tundra DLC will be separated into chapters, and these chapters will generally focus on legendary and mythical Pokemon. If the leaked information is correct, thenPokemon SwordandShieldfans can look forward to encountering the likes of the Swords of Justice (Cobalion, Keldeo, Terrakion, Virizion), the Regis (including Regigigas), theGalarian Legendary Birds(Articuno, Moltres, Zapdos), and the Ultra Beasts fromPokemon SunandMoon.

It’s been known for some time that thePokemon SwordandShieldCrown Tundra DLC will have a legendary focus, but this is the first indication of which legendary Pokemon specifically will be included in the lineup. It’s possible that there are even more legendary Pokemon than the ones listed here in store forSwordandShieldfans once the Crown Tundra DLC releases, but that remains to be seen.
While there will be many returning legendary Pokemon in thePokemon SwordandShieldCrown Tundra DLC, the expansion will also introduce some new legendary Pokemon to the mix as well. This includes the Galarian Legendary Birds,Calyrex, Regidrago, and Regieleki.
ThePokemon SwordandShieldCrown Tundra expansion will also be adding new Gigantamax forms to the games, with Blastoise and Venusaur Gigantamax forms already confirmed for the DLC. It’s possible that Crown Tundra will add even moreGigantamax formsas well, though they have yet to be announced.
ThePokemon SwordandShieldCrown Tundra release date isn’t until sometime later this year, so fans still have a few months until they can start hunting down legendary Pokemon.
