ForCrusader Kings 3fans excited about experiencing history, a new mod can help bridge the gap between different time periods. Paradox Interactive has given fans a lot of flexibility to shape the game withCrusader Kings 3mods, with a variety that allows players to do things like rearrange menu layouts, interact with Native Americans, and even become a vampire king to start a playthrough with supernatural powers.
One interesting mod allows players to convert their save file from thebeginning ofCrusader Kings 3over toEuropa Universalis 4,another series developed by Paradox Interactive. This allows players to experience history from the Viking age of 867 to the end ofEuropa Universalis 4in 1821, during the early modern period.

TheCrusader Kings 3converter mod piggybacks off an older one that allowed forCrusader Kings 2strategy gamesave files to be brought into theEuropa Universalis 4timeline. The mod converts all of a player’s custom stuff as well, but the conversion will only work if the save file is set before the late middle ages in 1444 — the beginning date for whenEuropa Universalis 4takes place.
The mod will preserveCrusader Kings 3cultures, religions, rulers, and advisors, among other things. There are also methods of transferringCrusader Kings 3buildings to have them become provincial development points inEuropa Universalis 4. While still in development, the converter mod is available on the Steam Workshop tab within theCrusader Kings 3home page. However, fans may have to wait before they can start colonizing and developing modern technology, as there are currently issues that make this transfer more difficult.
The mod was developed by the same people who created otherParadox Interactive grand strategy gameconverters, so they have a history of making impressive mods for this kind of title. History buffs should be interested in getting the opportunity to experience almost one thousand years of human development and warp it with their own unique vision.
If those players want to take things a step further, they can also transfer their save files toVictoria 2andHearts of Iron 4in order to put more years under their belt. For those who would rather stick with the base game, fans will have to settle for making theirCrusader Kings 3dynasty as best as it can be. That is, if players can handle the harsh realities of running an empire for that amount of time.
Crusader Kings 3is available now on PC.
