Cyberpunk 2077is famous for its disastrous launchin December 2020. The futuristic first-person shooter was plagued with performance problems, technical issues, and glitches that made the game practically unplayable for PS4 and Xbox One players. Over the years, CD Projekt Red has released patches for the game to improve the experience, including the most recent 2.0 update that makes it feel almost brand new. The new update not only fixes many of the game’s technical problems but also improves some of the dialogue. One such example is some of the dialogue in the Delamain questline, a story centered around a character who owns a fleet of autonomous taxi cabs.

Makavelinow, a member of the Cyberpunkgame subreddit, posted a side-by-side comparison of thedialogue spoken between V and Johnny Silverhandbetween the original release of the game and the newest update. The video shows a clip of the original dialogue first, with V and Johnny sitting in a car, getting rammed into a wall by a hit-and-run from Delamain. V asks Johnny if he thinks it’s weird that a guy as courteous as Delamain would perform a hit-and-run. What makes this dialogue so jarring is that at this point in the story, the two of them hate each other, and V is acting like they’re friends. The second half of the video is a clip of the new dialogue in the scene. The two of them get hit by Delamain, but this time, they bicker at each other, which makes a lot more sense.Warning: the Reddit video contains adult language.

In the comments for the post, there’s a bit of contention about whether the newdialogue inCyberpunk 2077is actually present in the scene or not, with some players still experiencing the old lines. Getting the new dialogue depends on some of the choices that the player makes in the story. Players may hear the old lines instead if they meet Takemura in the Diner before this scene plays out.
