CD Projekt Red Narrative Director Igor Sarzynski tweeted, “First day in the Boston office! So good to meet old friends and officially kickstart our Orion journey. I couldn’t be more excited for this project and i’m sure we can make it something special. 2077 was just a warm-up.” It seems that the company has every intention of learning from the mistakes leading up toCyberpunk 2077’s launch and deliveringCyberpunk 2, codenamed Orion, as one of CD Projekt Red’s typically excellent titles. Although anticipation is already building surrounding the company’s upcomingCyberpunkgame, very few details have been shared regarding its development.
However, anotherCyberpunkdeveloper revealed an interesting detail. Philipp Weber, another narrative director working onCyberpunk, explained thathe’s pushing forCyperbunk 2to expand on life paths. This feature was one of the more anticipated facets ofCyberpunk 2077, but some fans were disappointed to discover that a player’s chosen life path became increasingly irrelevant as one progressed into the game.
