Netflixhas released a new trailer for the third and final season of the hit dark comedy series,Dead To Me.The series stars Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini as two unlikely friends who bond after the accidental killing of one of their husbands.
Netflix’sDead to Meseason 3 trailer opens with a quick recap of the previous events: Judy (Cardellini) killing Jen’s husband in a hit and run, and Jen (Applegate) killing Judy’s corrupt ex-husband Steve (Westworldstar James Marsden) by her pool. We also see the two amateur criminals destroy some evidence and make off with a big pile of cash.

Cut to Jen and Judy in the hospital after the car accident at the end of season 2, with Jen wearing a neck brace and Judy happy to see her alive. However, things quickly start to spiral as it’s revealed that the police have found Steve’s body. This leads to some questioning from the police, and a reminder that Steve was a corrupt lawyer involved with the local Greek mafia, who are now also on Jen and Judy’s trail. TheDead to Meseason 3 trailer ramps up as Jen and Judy attempt to cover their tracks and give themselves official outlaw names: Judy Five Fingers and Bitch Cassidy.
The first season ofDead to Mepremiered on Netflix in 2019. The series stars Applegate as Jen Harding, a realtor who attends group therapy after her husband is killed in a hit and run, and Cardellini as Judy Hale, a woman who befriends Jen at therapy but is later revealed to have been the driver who killed Jen’s husband. The series has received mostly favorable reviews, particularly for the performances of the two leads. In 2019, Applegate was nominated for an Emmy for her performance and in 2020 both actresses werenominated at the Emmys.
Dead to Meis known for its black comedy and unique premise,blending murder mystery with a heartfelt storyabout friendship. While Jen and Judy have made it through the first two seasons of the series, it’s hard to imagine them walking away unscathed.
Season 3 will be the final season ofDead to Me, so fans can expect a big finale. Will they get away with it? Will they turn on each other? Will the Greeks get them? Hopefully, all these questions will be answered whenDead to Meseason 3 premieres on Netflix later this month.
