Deadpool 3is the Merc with a Mouth’s first film since Disney acquired 20th Century Fox, reverting the character screen rights to Marvel Studios. However, Marvel Studios bossKevin Feige promisesDeadpool 3will be R-rated, which means the adult humor and violent action from the first two films will carry over to the Merc with a Mouth’s MCU debut. So, with the R-rated content intact and several familiar characters joining Deadpool in the MCU, fans are likely relieved to hear that what they loved about the first two films will be present when the Merc with a Mouth falls under Disney’s family-friendly umbrella.
Deadpool 3is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 15, 2025.
