Destiny 2is set to kick off the Season of the Worthy on March 10, and it will bring with it a slew of new content to the game over the course of the next couple of months. Bungie recently pulled the curtain back on exactly whatDestiny 2fans can expect from the Season of the Worthy, detailing what’s to come in a helpful roadmap.
As expected,Destiny 2’s Season of the Worthywill start on March 10. It will kick things off with a new PvE activity in the form of the Seraph Tower Event, which will give players the chance to get new legendary weapons and armor for their arsenal. Then on March 13, fans can jump into the long-awaited return of the Trials of Osiris, which will be live in the game every weekend and like the Seraph Tower Event, feature exclusive rewards for players that participate.

On April 21,Destiny 2players can check out theGrandmaster Ordeal, which is a new Nightfall Strike difficulty. Completing it will unlock a new seal as well as other special rewards forDestiny 2players that are in the end-game. And then from April 21 to May 11, allDestiny 2players will have the chance to play in the Guardian Games for the chance to unlock some new legendary armor.
From thereturn of the Trials of Osiristo the new Seraph Tower PvE activity, it seems as thoughDestiny 2’s Season of the Worthy will have plenty for fans of Bungie’s looter-shooter to sink their teeth into. Bungie will no doubt be looking to keepDestiny 2faithfuls engaged with the game throughout 2020 as well as bring back lapsed players, and Season of the Worthy may very well get the job done.
Of course,Destiny 2players have much more to look forward to in 2020. Bungie has suggested thatDestiny 2will get regular support through 2021, with the upcoming Season 11 set to be like “no other time inDestiny.” More seasons will presumably followDestiny 2Season 11, though Bungie has yet to mention them. It’s also possible that the game could get another high-end expansion similar to theShadowkeep DLCas well.
Before fans need to worry aboutDestiny 2Season 11or any big new expansions, they should keep their eye on the Season of the Worthy, which will start on March 10 and end on June 9.
Destiny 2is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
