A post by Reddit user The_Baconpenguin to theDiablosubreddit questions the game’s apparent lack of viewable playtime associated to player characters. The fan points out a similar function within bothWorld of WarcraftandDiablo 3, allowing players to quickly access their total playtimes on individual characters. While some fans in the comments would point out third-party software that achieves the same purpose, Blizzard has not included an officialplaytime tracker withinDiablo 4. Another fan in the comments made a similar request forDiablo 4to track a character’s completed quests.
The requests come as players have already begun to voice complaints withDiablo 4’s end-game content. Many high-level players have criticizedDiablo 4’s high-level loot drops, suggesting that players pushing past the low 70s will not find many upgrades for the upper echelons of the game. Others have criticized content likeDiablo 4’s Nightmare Dungeons, suggesting the endgame content is overly generic and removes many of the fun elements ofDiablo’s combat. It’s worth pointing out that Blizzard made adjustments to the loot within Nightmare Dungeons in a recent update.
While fans have been quick to bring up criticism and concerns throughoutDiablo 4’s launch month, Blizzard has also made several attempts to improve the game. Blizzard wouldrelease the 1.0.3 patch forDiablo 4earlier this week, with many fans already raving over the buffs and improvements made during the update. The patch joins several others made toDiablo 4throughout June with the purpose of addressing fan complaints and improving the user experience. Fans can hope that Blizzard continues to keep a sharp eye on complaints and keeps improvingDiablo 4.
