Dr Disrespect, the former Twitch streamer, who following a ban in 2020 migrated to YouTube, has stated that he thinksLost Arkwill be a “snooze.” In a recent conversation with TimTheTatman, Dr Disrespect wouldn’t budge on his opinion. TimTheTatman praisedLost Ark’sMMO experience, saying that everything from “leveling your character” to acquiring “rare gear” stood out as highlights. Dr Disrespect argued his point of view by asking TimTheTatman “where’s the skill though?" However, fans of the MMO would likely point towards the fact thatAmazon’sLost Arkoffers much more to do than endless combat.

Dr Disrespect is a gamer who has built a reputation for playing highly competitive games, especially shooters. He racked up over 4 million followers on Twitch playing Battle Royale video games, such asH1Z1,PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds,Black Ops 4: Blackout,Call of Duty: Warzone,Apex Legends, andFortnite. It is easy to see how many would argue against Dr Disrespect. Gamers have long found ways of demonstrating their skills in MMO games and would point to the intricacy of their build crafting and ability combos. But for Dr Disrespect, it’s not enough. He argued, “MMOs are one of those games where I couldn’t tell the difference between who’s a better player” and said if he was watching a stream on Twitch, he’d prefer something likeCall of Duty: Warzoneveteran Michael “shroud” Grzesiek.

Lost Arkis available in Europe and North America on February 11 on PC.
