Billionaire Elon Musk has never made his love for video games secret, publicly praising games like Blizzard’s hero-shooterOverwatchand theHalo Infinitecampaign. Now Musk has talked about his time playing FromSoftware’s action-RPG epicElden Ring, going as far as to reveal the build that he uses in the game.
Over on Twitter, the account History Defined shared an image of Tree of Life mosiac in Hisham’s Palace, itself located near Jericho in Palestine. Musk responded to the image with “Elden Ringvibes” in a tweet that amassed over 15,000 likes. Twitter user KangaroO then responded to Musk’s comment and asked what build he was playing in the game. Since Musk has over 91 million followers on Twitter, one could be forgiven for assuming that he never responded to KangaroO, but Musk actually replied with the build that he claims to be using inElden Ring.

According to Musk, he is currently using anElden Ringbuildthat focuses on Dexterity and Intelligence, which allows him to play as a mage but also use melee weapons when needed. Musk says that he uses a shield in his left hand, while he typically holds a staff in his right hand. When Musk’sElden Ringcharacter isn’t casting spells, he likes to use the rapier and claws. Musk is also fluid when it comes to the armor that hisElden Ringcharacter wears, switching between heavy and medium weight depending on if he needs to roll fast or function more like a tank.
Musk added that he equips many differentElden Ringtalismans while playing, and that it’s important to connect with “many small hits in a row” to stack damage. Musk also left the commenter with a tip to use summons to improve their chances in the game.Elden Ringplayers can summon in other players from around the world to help in co-op, but they can alsosummon Spirit Ashesto help as well.
Musk isn’t the first celebrity that’s talked about playingElden Ring. Recently,WWE superstar Randy Ortonrevealed that he also playsElden Ringquite a bit. While he didn’t reveal the build he’s using in the game, Orton did claim that he was level 527, which is a ridiculously high level in the game. Orton revealed this a couple of weeks ago, and so it’s safe to say that he is likely closer to theElden Ringmax level cap by now.
