Xbox insider Klobrilleupdated their roadmap of Xbox Game Studios projects, addingCall of Duty: Black Ops 6to the timeline for 2024 as well asSouth of Midnight,Fable, andDoom: The Dark Agesfor 2025. They also addedGears of War: E-Dayand refreshed the logos forPerfect DarkandState of Decay 3. The new roadmap paints a bright future for the Xbox brand, and while some projects are without release windows at the time of this writing, there are still many games dropping as early as this year.

Project: MARA is a new game in development at Ninja Theory, while Project Maverick is a project in the works fromBulletstormdeveloper People Can Fly.
While there’s always a chance they could get delayed to next year, at the time of this writing, Xbox Game Studios hasAge of Mythology: Retoldcoming on September 4,Ara: History Untolddropping September 24,Call of Duty: Black Ops 6releasing on October 25, and finally,Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024releasing on November 19.Avowed,Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, andTowerborneare all expected to release this year as well, but they are all currently without solid release dates. BesidesCall of Duty: Black Ops 6, all of these games will be Xbox console exclusives come their respective release dates.
2025 isn’t quite as busy as 2024, but there are already three exciting games for fans to look forward to so far.
