Mediatonic is collaborating with The Coalition to bringGears of Warskins to free-to-play party gameFall Guys. An increasing number of collaborators have worked with Mediatonic to bring their characters toFall Guys.Gears of Warfans hoping to pick up a skin will want to hurry because availability is only open for a limited amount of time.Fall Guysis well known for its diverse range of collaborations by now. When the party game relaunched as free-to-play, for example, it did so alongside anAssassin’s Creedcollaboration. There was a special game mode, limited-time rewards, and premium content, too. Since then,Fall Guyshas had a variety of collaborations includingStreet Fighter,SpongeBob SquarePants,Doctor Who,Star Trek,Destiny 2,Godzilla, and more.Gears of Waris just the latest partner inFall Guys' streak of great partnerships.RELATED:Epic Games Introducing New Account System for Kids Playing Fortnite and Other Popular GamesThree skins are being offered as part of theFall Guyscollaboration withGears of War. Marcus Fenix is included, naturally, taken from the originalGears of Warrather than any of its sequel.Gears 5protagonist Kait Diazis also featured. The third skin goes to one ofGears of War’s most popular villains, General RAAM. There are certainly other villains that could have been chosen, but General RAAM does represent the Swarm better than most.
The three skins will be available to purchase inFall Guysfor a limited time. They’re currently inFall Guys' shop, but will be removed on December 13. Collaboration skins typically do come back to the shop in time, but it could be a while.Gears of Warfans who want the new skins should verify to make their purchase this weekend lest they forget and miss the opportunity.
Some mindfulThe Game Awards 2022viewers may have already been rewarded for their time. The Kait DiazFall Guysskin was given out to The Game Awards viewers on Twitch for those who watched the event live. Sadly, there’s no way to earn the skin for free anymore.
All in all, the skins inFall Guysare purely cosmetic and most of the party game’s players likely already have a wardrobe full of fun skins. ForGears of Warplayers, this is a fun opportunity to celebrate the franchise, especially as everyone waits for news regarding what’s next for theGears of Warfranchise.The Coalitionwill hopefully share more news on that in 2023.
