The Whitespring Bunker is an integral part of the main questline inFallout 76. Players will spend a lot of time in the bunker, as it is where they can get nuclear key cards. It is also home to some good vendors, and it’s the best place to find Technical Data.
New players may be a little confused when they first come across the door to the Whitespring Bunker but can’t access it. However, it’s not something that players should worry about. It just means that themain questlineis not yet at the point that allows entry to the bunker.
Where Is The Whitespring Bunker?
A Poorly Kept Secret
The Whitespring Bunker is located near the Whitespring Resort.While this seems obvious, the entry points to the bunker aren’t that easy to spot. There are two entrances to the bunker. The first one is located around the side of the Whitespring Resort. Be sure to travel to the Whitespring Resort andnot the Refugeto follow the route below. To get there, players should do the following:
As for the second entrance, instead of heading through the gray door, the player should instead keep heading south. They will come across a couple of buses parked outside a large door. This door is the second entrance to the Whitespring Bunker.
How To Gain Access To The Whitespring Bunker
In order to be able to access the Whitespring Bunker, the player willneed to complete the quest, Bunker Buster. This is a part of the main questline and can be done fairly quickly and easily. Without giving away any spoilers, the player will end up at theAbandoned Waste Dump. That is where the quest Bunker Buster begins.
The player needs to become a member of the Enclave to gain access to this bunker. The quest Bunker Buster will take the player through the steps required to join. This quest comes just after the quest Uncle Sam.
What’s Inside The Whitespring Bunker?
There Are Lots Of Good Things To See
As mentioned at the start of this article, there are a few great things hidden away inside the Whitespring Bunker. Firstly,players can find Technical Data inside. Technical Data has a chance to spawn inside the desks inside the military wing.
The Whitepspring Bunker also has a MODUS terminal that sellsplans to craft Serums. These can be purchased from MODUS in the Science Wing of the bunker. There is also another MODUS terminal located in the production area that sells rare Power Armor plans. It also has a chance to have Enclave Plasma Weapons in its inventory.
If the player needs to find nuclear key cards, then they can head to the main command deck. From there, the player can use a terminal to start a mission to head out and obtain a nuclear key card. These key cards are used to launch nuclear missiles.
