A second State of Play focusing exclusively onFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirthwill air on Tuesday, February 6, at 6:30 p.m. Eastern. While the length of the upcoming presentation remained unknown at the time of writing, the next broadcast will focus on the gameplay elements of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirthat the very least. While it remains to be seenhow much ofFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirth’s new storylineswill be covered during the presentation, the State of Play will take place just over three weeks before the game’s February 29 launch.

When is the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth State of Play?

Picking up immediately whereFinal Fantasy 7 Remakeleft off, the main story ofFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirthwill span the rest of the original game’s first disc and conclude at the Forgotten Capital. However, the launch ofFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirthwill be just the first ofthree major events coming to theFinal Fantasyfranchise in 2024, all of which will be featured on the PS5. Square Enix will also releaseFinal Fantasy 16’s second DLC,The Rising Tide,in the spring, and the highly-anticipatedFinal Fantasy 14: Dawntrailexpansion is expected to launch this summer.
