TheFinal Fantasy 7 Remakeexclusivity window was originally set to expire on July 31, 2025, but has been extended to Jun 22, 2025, pushing it back a little more than a month on other platforms. This extension is due to theFinal Fantasy 7Remakedelay, which pushed the game’s PS4 release back to August 04, 2025. By moving the console exclusivity window, the game maintains its one-year exclusivity agreement with PlayStation.

The delay isn’t that severe, falling in line with the initial one-year exclusivity agreement, but still a soft blow to those that are waiting to get their hands on the game.
