AfterFive Nights At Freddy’s: Security Breach - Ruin’s opening chapter Cassie will find herself flushed down into the ruins of the Pizzaplex’s Minigolf Course: Monty’s Gator Golf. This area was once a vibrant minigolf course, but has since collapsed into twisted metal and rubble. While avoiding Montgomery Gator’s twisted remains that yet stalk the course, Cassie has to find a way out.
InFive Nights At Freddy’s: Security Breach - Ruin, players will be navigating the broken remains of the main game’s locales. Navigating Monty Golf will introduce players to some new mechanics added by theRuinDLC, such as the V.A.N.N.I Mask and the AR Pizzaplex.

Arriving in Monty Golf
Following a close encounter with Monty, Cassie falls into the water and is flushed out of a water feature in the Monty Golf attraction. After getting their bearings, players regain control. There’s only one way to go from here, so players should head through the ruined golf course, crawling where necessary, until they meet Maskbot. Much like Mapbot from the main game, Maskbotis a jumpscarethat ultimately helps you out. After the initial shock, Maskbot will offer Cassie a very familiar-looking mask, which turns out to be much more than it seems.
This mask allows Cassie to access the “V.A.N.N.I” (Virtual Augmented Neural Network Integration) network and view an AR overlay of the Pizzaplex. There are some objects that only exist, or can only be seen, in the AR Pizzaplex. Conversely, the AR overlay will sometimes hide objects that are visible normally. Players are also introduced to Helpi, a helpful little bear who some players mightrecall from FNAF Pizzeria Simulator. His purpose is to aid the wearer of the mask with navigating the AR Pizzaplex.

The path forward is blocked by a rather glitchy-looking box, and wearing the mask will reveal that it doesn’t exist in the AR Pizzaplex. Before walking through it players should check behind them for a side path with a storage container. Just inside there’s an AR Collectible, which is the “AR Glam Monty Plush”. Head back to the glitchy box and wear the mask to walk right through it.
On the other side players will need to remove the mask to use the Faz Wrench. Fill the top bar all the way and then point the wrench to the bottom bar, and both bars should hit the blue segment simultaneously. This causes the door to open and allows players to proceed onward. The bathroom past the door contains a Wet Floor Bot that can be interacted with while wearing the mask, switching it off. Switching every Wet Floor Botin the DLCoff will unlock a secret later on, so players should keep an eye out for them throughout the adventure.

Exploring Gator Golf
In the hall past the Bathroom is a door with a Monty sign next to it that will vanish while the mask is worn, so players should throw on the mask and head through, turning left to find a hidden room with an AR collectible before following the hall in the other direction to find another section of the Monty Golf attraction. Taking off the mask will allow a better view since there is a barrier preventing Cassie from seeing or walking into the course in the AR version of the room.
Once inside, players are introduced to Camera Stations, which allow Cassie to tap into the security cameras in the immediate area and see what’s going on around the Pizzaplex. Players should immediately zoom out on this camera station to reveal an extra hidden camera. On console players can cycle to it with the bumpers, while on PC players will need to click on the camera to swap to it. Accessing the hidden camera opens a door somewhere elsein the Pizzaplexand is important later.

Find the Camera with Monty on it and Helpi will explain how to use the intercom to distract animatronics, playing Cassie’s voice over the camera to make Monty change position. This will clear Monty out of the area, so players can explore freely for now. A short way ahead through the Gator Golf Course is an arcade machine that Cassie can play, though it doesn’t seem to serve any deeper purpose and doesn’t unlock another endinglike other arcade machines do. Past that is the area where Monty was, and a blocked staircase leading up. The blockage doesn’t exist in the AR world, so Cassie can put on the mask and walk right through it to keep moving.
Around the hut at the top and on the far side Cassie will need to lose the mask for a bit to get past an AR blockade. Follow the path to briefly spot Monty again in the distance. Follow him to land in an open area with an electrified door where Gregory will contact Cassie to explain that he needs her to disable “All Security”.

Disable the Security Nodes
Looking at the door from the direction shown in the image above, players can head to the right through a gap to find a side area. Head up the ramp and use the mask to enter a secret room holding an AR Collectible (AR Nightmare Plush).Take off the familiar maskto spot a normal collectible also in the room.
Return to the area with the electrified door and put on the mask to allow Cassie to pass through the blockage on the stairs on the left and head upstairs. Use the mask to pass through another blockade and find a floating rabbit head (the security node Cassie needs to disable). There’s an AR collectible on the left that players should grab before trying to access the node. Examining the node with the Mask on will allow players to spot a glowing red wire coming out from beneath it, and following this will lead to the child node.

In this case, the child node is a barrel near the node, which players can interact with while wearing the mask to disable. After that players should head for the main node and complete the puzzle, linking the matching images as shown in the image above. This causes the forklift nearby to raise a box out of the way, opening a path forward.
Follow this new path, winding through Gator Golf, to reach a crawlspace leading to an area with another Camera Station and another security node. Helpi will detect an anomaly in the V.A.N.N.I Network as Cassie looks at the node. Exploring this area with the mask on will cause Cassie to get jumpscared by “The Entity”, and Gregory will chime in to explain that it sends out a distress signal when it catches Cassie, and that Monty seems to be responding to it. From this point onward The Entity will appear after Cassie has been wearing the mask for a bit, accompanied by a scare chord in the audio, and coming into contact with it will causea creepy animatronicto be attracted to Cassie’s current location. Players can still escape by moving away from the entity, as the animatronic is called to the location where Cassie and the Entity connected.

Players can get rid of the Entity by taking off the mask and waiting for a short time before putting it back on, and doing so when it gets too close can be a good way to handle it here. Players should follow the glowing wires from the node to find two child nodes, this time a cardboard cutout of Monty’s face at the back of the room on the right, and a barrel at the back of the room on the left are the nodes. There is also a Wet Floor Robot near the barrels to deactivate.
Once both nodes are off, players should head back to the main node and connect the images to disable it, as seen in the image above. This will open the door to a room containing a third security node. Being mindful of the Entity and Monty, players should locate the three child nodes in this new room. The nodes here are a small red bin behind the Node and towards the back of the room, a Golf Club in the corner opposite that bin, and a plushie on a shelf in the corner diagonally opposite to the bin.

Disable the nodes and head back to the main node to start another security puzzle. Complete this puzzle and then take a look at the nearby Camera Station to see that the electrified door is now open. Players should now backtrack to that door, getting a nasty scare from Monty along the way, and head through the door to enter Gator Grub. Disable the two Wet Floor Bots and continue through the winding hallway beyond the kitchen to find another Faz Wrench puzzle. Charge the bottom wire all the way and then start charging the top one, and they should both go blue together and open the door to a hallway and then turn left to enter a security office.
Inside the office is another security node, with two child nodes around the room to access. The first is a plastic ball on the security desk, and the second is a pizza lying near the door opposite the entrance, on a cardboard box. Disable both and then access the Main Security Node to shut it off, completing another security puzzle in the process. Monty will then crash into the hallway, so players should exit via the door opposite the one they used to enter the security office, and then wrap around and out the door.

Arriving in a large open room, players will now need to track down the nodes connecting to another main node up on a balcony overlooking the main section. The nodes here are a plushie of Nightmarionne up a set of stairs on the far left side of the room from the entrance, and a bin that can be found on the right side of the room on the same raised section as the Main Security Node. Head through the newly opened door and use the crawlspace to reach a security room with a big screen.
In this room, use the mask to reveal a Camera Station and cycle the cameras until an anomaly is detected, then follow the button prompt to “quarantine it” causing the big screen to vanish in the AR world and allow Cassie to climb through into the Daycare.
