The world of Athia is divided into four realms inForspoken, each of which is under the rule of one of the four Tantas. The Tantas are powerful sorcerers that were loved by the Athians. Each realm is filled with its unique landscapes, Labyrinths, Monuments, Belfry towers, Pilgrim’s Refuge, caves, and resources.
Furthermore, each of the Tantas had cat-like Familiars, which are uniquely different from the others; some have wings or horns. Also, the little fur balls were loved so much by the Athians that they ended up with their own Monuments, which are known as the Tanta’s Familiars Monuments. The Pilgrims showered these fluffy felines with food and resources inForspoken, but the Tantas saw it as a waste and forbade anyone from doing it.

Tanta’s Familiar Locations In Forspoken
There are 20 Familiar Monuments, which are scattered around the lands of Athia. Each Athian realm has a total of five Monuments and almost all of them are located near aFast Travel Waypoint inForspoken. Here are all the 20 Tanta’s Familiar locations inForspoken:

How To Unlock Tanta’s Familiars In Forspoken
Players need to approach the Familiar Monument to unlockTanta’s Familiars inForspoken. Approaching the Monument will spawn a little fluffy Familiar near the Monument. The spawned cat-like must be befriended to add it to Frey’s room or an unlocked Pilgrim’s Refuge inForspoken.
The first Tanta’s Familiar Monument is introduced inchapter four ofForspoken. Upon players' arrival at Middle Praenost: Northern Belfry tower, they can perform a scan with Cuff to locate all the nearby Monuments, Labyrinth, Camera Locations, Caves, and of course the Familiar Monuments. After the scan, players can locate the Monuments in front of the Belfry tower.The Tanta’s Familiar Monument is represented by a paw icon, so animal lovers are unlikely to miss it.
How To Befriend A Tanta’s Familiar
The Tanta’s Familiars are shy creatures, so approaching them directly can drive them away. The best solution to befriend any of them is by doing the following:
Failing to approach the catlike Familiar cautiously will scare it away and make it disappear. However, don’t fret as Frey can simplygo back to its Monument and wait for it to reappear inForspoken.
