Fort Solisis a narrative-focused psychological thriller set on Mars from developers Fallen Leaf Studios in conjunction with Black Drakkar Games and publisher Dear Villagers. Set on the remote mining colony of Fort Solis on the planet Mars, engineer Jack Leary (played by Roger Clark ofRed Dead Redemption 2) responds to a distress signal only to find the station abandoned and devoid of life.

Searching the station for clues, Leary, along with his assistant Jessica Appleton (played by Julia Brown ofWorld On FireandThe Last Kingdom) will need to access various rooms and facilities, the majority of which will be inaccessible due to theinitiation of a lockdown protocol. By finding the required access Key Cards, players will then be able to enter new areas and progress with the game’s story.
5Level 1
The Level 1 access key card is required in order to access the Medical Bay, which is one of the first locations Jack will search on Fort Solis during Chapter 1, “Dark Descent”. Having searched the crew officers and Rec Room in the main Atrium, Jack can then explore the Crew Quarters where this key card can be found.
While exploring the hallways of the Crew Quarters, players will notice a broken door that is stuck opening and closing labeled “Claire Smith”. By approaching it, Jack is able to get inside where he findsa vintage vinyl recordalong with the Level 1 access key card. With this equipped he can then make his way down the staircase towards the lower levels to find the Medical Bay.
4Level 2
The Level 2 access key card will be needed for players to gain access to the Drill Bay, where they will need to searchlater on in the story. In order to find it, players will first need to gain access to the Surgery room. This can be challenging since the game does not mention exactly how to go about unlocking the Surgery door.

Within the Medical Bay, players must search through Subsection C until they find Wyatt Taylor’s office. From here theycan use the Surveillance camerasto unlock the Surgery room door in order to progress. Within the Surgery, Jack will find the corpse of a security officer suffering from multiple stab wounds. A knife can also be found next to a basin to the left of the room. Upon interacting with the body, Jack will then take the Level 2 key card from the body of the security guard.
3Level 3
Players can find the Level 3 access card during Chapter 2: “Let There Be Light”. This will be needed in order togain access to the Maintenance Unitsince Jack believes this may be a good place from which to be able to disable the lockdown protocol which has been initiated in Fort Solis - and has subsequently shut down access to many facilities.
Players will find the card in the private office of Nick Tout, located within the Drill Bay room on level B1 of the Atrium. Having entered the room, players will find that Tout’s office is inaccessible without an i5 power unit. Fortunately, the communal bathroom to the left of Tout’s office contains an i5 unit which will fall from the hand dryer as Jack enters. There is also a collectible poster located in this room, depicting a large Titan excavator.
2Level 4
The Level 4 access key card can be found during Chapter 3 “Midnight Run”. Players will need Level 4 access to get back into the Atrium to the Rec Room and Canteen later on. There they will be able to find Adam Hoskins along with more significant clues relating to Wyatt and the incident at Fort Solis.

Players will find the Level 4 key card when they enter the Server Room. This will trigger a cut scene in which Jessica sees the body of a man with a severed arm and uses this to commencethe Server Room puzzle. Once players have completed this puzzle by unlocking the servers in the corresponding sequence displayed on the terminal, Jessica will pick up a Level 4 access card and swipe it to her multi-tool. From this point onward players will be able to access the Atrium and Maintenance Unit as Jessica.
1Level 5
The Level 5 access key card is needed in order to gain access to the Greenhouse, where the final Chapter of the game’s main story concludes. Here players will be able to finally see what has been going on inside the megalithic eco-dome, as well asinvestigate Helen Dunpart’s private office including her safe.
To obtain the fifth and final key card, players will have to make their way back to the Canteen in the Atrium, where Jack first saw “the shadow of a fridge”. As it turns out this is the body of engineer Adam Hoskins, and on the table in front of him is a Level 5 access key card. Having interacted with the body, Jessica will automatically pick up the key card during a cut scene, she will then be able to make her way to the Greenhousefor the final confrontation with Wyatt.
