Kaskade’s concert is being brought to fans as part ofthe Llama-Rama 2021 event, a crossover between Epic-owned titlesFortniteandRocket League. Players will be able to catch the DJ and producer perform his newResetEP at the main stage atFortnite’s Party Royale island. The concert will take place at a few different times, the first being Friday, March 26 at 8:00 p.m. ET. Two follow-up shows will take place the next day, with one at 9:00 a.m. ET, and the other at 2:00 p.m. ET. According to the official Epic Games blog, players can also check out the concert setlist early via Kaskade’s latest releases on Spotify.

The concert is meant to give a grand send-off toRocket League’s musical-themed second season. Earlier this month, it was announced thatRocket LeagueSeason 2 would be extendedby about a month, giving players time to climb the tiers of its battle pass.Rocket Leagueand Monstercat, Kaskade’s label, have been collaborating since 2017, so the DJ’s appearance doesn’t come as too much of a surprise. Beyond the concert inFortnite, players can complete challenges inRocket Leagueduring Llama-Rama in order to earn themed cosmetics for both games.

The Kaskade concert and Llama-Rama as a whole will likely giveFortnite’s playerbase a significant boost. Arguably the most comparable artist the free-to-play title has had so far is Marshmello, who saw incredible success with his performance. TheMarshmello concert set the concurrent player recordat the time, one that would eventually be eclipsed by Travis Scott, and in turn the Marvel Galactus event. Given in-game concerts have become a regular thing forFortnite, it’s possible a new record could be set this weekend.

The free Kaskade concert should come as great news to fans everywhere, especially considering its the closest many will get to an actual concert anytime soon. However, there are a fair share ofFortnitehaters out there, or gamers who aren’t big on DJs or EDM. Fortunately, it isn’t the only free video game-related concert going on soon.Ace Attorneyis getting an online concert, which will feature full orchestral performances of musical selections from the series. Whether fans decide to go for one or both, free concerts are a win for everyone.
