Epic Game’sFortniteand Mediatonic’sFall Guys: Ultimate Knockouthave a few main things in common. Both games feature competitive multiplayer, bright colors, and a passion forgoofy outfits and crossover costumes.
The gameplay may be wildly different, but the styles certainly seem like they could lend themselves to a crossover between the two. That potential may soon be realized, as severalFortnite-themed cosmetics could be on their way toFall Guys: Ultimate Knockout.

Dataminers recently discovered multiple files hinting at the cosmetic crossover, and the leak was posted to Twitter by the account FNLeaksAndInfo. Some of the files were initially found in February whenrumors of aFortnite/Fall Guyscrossover first appeared. Developers removed the files earlier this year, but the recent leak reveals that the files have since been re-added. Dataminers also found new files pointing to additionalFortnite-inspired cosmetics.
The leaked cosmetics let players dress their titularFall Guysin five differentFortnite-inspired costumes. They include Cuddle Team Leader, Peely, Bunny Brawler, and Rippley, all of which are popularFortniteskins. Additionally, the leak reveals five new nameplates with “Loot Llama,” “Victory Backboard,” “Battle Bus,” “Blueprint,” “Cuddle Team Leader,” and “Slurp” themes. All of which are iconic things from Epic’s popular battle royale game.
Of course, gamers should always take leaks with a grain of salt. However, the leak indicates that Epic and Mediatonic are more than a little interested in creating a crossover betweenFortniteandFall Guys. This would also be far from the first time thatFall Guyscrossed over with other franchises. These include games likeSonic the Hedgehog,Super Monkey Ball,Portal,Doom,Nier: Automata, and more.Halo-themed content is also rumored to be on its way toFall Guys.
It’s not known when or if theFortnitecrossover will take place.Fall Guysis currently in the midst of Season 5, “Jungle Adventure.” Mediatonic may intend to introduce the new skins during the season. Other possibilities include waiting for a significant industry event like EGX in March or using the crossover to bridge the gap between Season 5 and Season 6. A third possibility is that the crossover will coincide withFall Guys-inspiredcontent arriving inFortnite.
Of course, this is all speculation as there have yet to be any official announcements from Mediatonic or Epic Games. It’s also entirely possible that the crossover never comes to fruition. Developers have already added then removed much of the leaked data once already, so it may be way too early to talk about possible dates. Still, the code wouldn’t be there if the crossover wasn’t likely to come in the near future.
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockoutis available now on PC and PS4, with Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S versions scheduled to release later this year.
