For anyFortniteplayers thinking that theStar Warsshenanigans from recent weeks were over, Epic Games has more surprises, it seems.Fortniteleakers have discovered another bigStar Wars-related piece of content planned for the future and it’s a skin a lot of people are going to want. It’s unclear if it will be event-related, earnable through challenges, or purchasable with V-Bucks, but Epic will hopefully make it fun. The skin is none other than a Kylo Ren outfit, complete with his helmet, robes, and cape.

It would have made sense for Epic and Lucasfilm to launch a skin as certain to be popular as Kylo Ren over the current weekend. After all, Epic Games held a majorStar Wars: The Rise of Skywalkereventon Saturday in which an exclusive clip from the movie was shown and lightsabers were given out toFortniteplayers. The fact that Epic didn’t announce its upcoming Kylo Ren skin lends to the idea that there are still bigStar Warsplans in store.

That moreStar Warscontent could be coming is definitely a surprise. Saturday’sStar Warsevent was huge. There was a lengthy sequence in which the Millennium Falcon flew in and had a dogfight with several TIE Fighters, and that was just the introduction.Director J.J. Abramsthen walked out in-game via a great avatar made just for him and did a sketch with The Game Awards co-host Geoff Keighley and a friendly stormtrooper that was absolutely hilarious. TheStar Wars: The Rise of Skywalkerclip, as great as it was, wasn’t even the best part of the event.

Following the event, lightsabers became immediately available inFortnitefor players to pick up in standard matchmaking. It’s unclear how long they’ll remain in the game, but while they do,Fortnitewill effectively be an honoraryStar Warsgame. Perhaps theKylo Renskin will become available as part of the next rotation of buyable skins to capitalize on the ongoingStar Warshype. Perhaps it’ll become available with the launch ofStar Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Or perhapsFortnitehas another event planned down the line.

WhileStar Warsremains a focus inFortnite, the game is already preparing to move onto its next major in-game event. Leaks point to Winterfest inFortnitestarting next week, which means that eitherStar Warsis about to get snowy or that theStar Warssurge is about to end.Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalkernotably opens on Friday, December 20. It’s going to be interesting to see when the Kylo Ren skin, the end of theStar Warsevent, and the start of Winterfest line up.

Fortniteis available now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, Xbox One, and mobile devices.
