AFortniteplayer, notorious for attempting to get through the Battle Pass in a day every season, proves that making weekly quests temporary heavily hinders leveling up. This latest season will be coming to an end on March 8, which means that soonFortnite’s Chapter 4 Season 1 Battle Passwill no longer be available. Once the Battle Pass is inaccessible, players won’t be able to complete any unfinished quests or unlock any skins or other cosmetic items that they might’ve left unclaimed.

Epic Games always provides its fans with dozens of events, quests, and XP boosts throughout the season to aid them in getting as far as possible in the Battle Pass. There is a lot that players can unlock once they purchase the pass. The standard rewards go all the way up to level 100, but there’s also the Bonus Rewards page that goes up to level 200, and theFortniteMidseason dropsthat require players to level up ten times in order to unlock each style.

Chapter 4 Season 1 was the fifth season in a row that Reddit user ThatOneWooper attempted to complete within a day. They timed how long it took them to finish the Battle Pass and get to level 100 and then posted it on the FortNiteBR subreddit. According to the player’s post, thisFortniteseason was considerably harder to complete within a day; last season only took them four and a half hours to finish, but this one took seven and a half hours.

The original poster commented that in previous seasons what made them take longer to reach level 100 was that they went in unprepared. This time around, what made this so much harder was the fact that, throughout most of the season, weekly quests would only be available for a week. These quests were a season-long feat before Chapter 4 Season 1, and it was possible to accumulate them and do them at any time. Many fans weren’t happy with Epic’s decision to change this, so the company reverted the change and made it soFortniteweekly questswouldn’t expire every Tuesday.

Season 2 is just around the corner, and it’ll certainly be interesting to see if Epic Games once again attempts to make any changes to how easily players earn season levels. Thankfully, players canleaveFortniteCipher quests behindand only complete them once the new season hits - this way they can get a head start on the next Battle Pass.

Fortnite is available Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
