On Game Rant Arcade Episode 65, Anthony and Christian mix up the format and dig into some of the games, movies, and TV shows that they have been playing/watching over the last month or so. Other gaming topics on the podcast includeStranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, the new game fromNiohdeveloper, Team Ninja. Meant to act as a reimagining of the firstFinal Fantasystory,Stranger of Paradisebuilds on Team Ninja’s experience with Souls-like games and folds in some classicFinal Fantasyelements like jobs. Of course, a lot of the discussion aroundStranger of Paradisehas been the meme-worthy dialogue, so make sure to tune in and find out what other gems Anthony discovered while playing the game.

Anthony also was able to watch the first episode of theHaloTV series, which is set to debut on Paramount+ later this month.Halohas been in development for quite a while now and has seemingly undergone a lot of transformation in the time since.

Unfortunately, all of that time in the oven has not seemed to lead to aHaloTV show that mirrors the source material. Instead, the first episode suggests something more akin toThe Mandalorian, where Master Chief is used as a vessel for an uprising against the UNSC. That being said, there are some elements that fans of the game series will really enjoy seeing in live action.

The duo round out the podcast will some discussions of game industry news, specifically the impressivesales numbers forElden Ring. FromSoftware’s latest has sold a whopping 12 million copies since its release, which is a massive accomplishment for the Japanese studio.
