A Reddit user named christenlanger has posted an interesting video showing how a new Diluc bug can turn even the hardest boss domains into a cakewalk.Diluc’s Elemental Skill Searing Onslaughthas three parts all of which make him perform a claymore attack that deals AoE Pyro damage. The video shows that after the second attack, Diluc’s model seems to remain stuck in the animation which makes him deal tons of damage until the enemy’s health bar is depleted. According to the comment section, many players used this bug in their everyday farming experience. Some Travelers have also pointed out that players need to have Venti in their team and use his Elemental Skill which creates a wind current.
However, just like with many previous game-breaking glitches, this one has been already hotfixed by HoYoverse which left several Diluc mains unsatisfied. Even though he was once considered thestrongest DPS character inGenshin Impact, Diluc has been pushed out of the meta in recent years since his damage numbers cannot keep up with the newer and more complex characters.
Some players claim that it’s kind of sad that the only way to make this Pyro claymore user viable in today’s meta is to take advantage of a glitch. For a very long time,Genshin Impactplayers have beenasking HoYoverse to rework some of their earliest charactersthat would make them viable by expanding their level cap or introducing additional talents or constellation levels.
The two only ways to acquire Diluc are by losing a 50-50 on the Limited Character Banner or by simply spending Acquaint Fates onGenshin Impact’s less popular Standard Banner. As the pool of characters on this banner keeps expanding, the chances of getting a specific character like this Pyro user get lower.
