Genshin Impactkeeps expanding its character roster with almost update that arrives. The ongoing update 2.7 has introduced two brand-new characters - the Hydro user Yelan and the Electro sword character Kuki Shinobu.
Even though there is a lot of hype around the newest additions to the playable roster,Genshin Impactfans seem to be loyal to the old guard that have been part of the game since the beginning. Reddit user reveryeen has shared an impressive character concept turning Zhongli into a female Archon. Zhongli is known in the community as the Geo Grandpa since he’s theoldest character in theGenshin Impactstorywhich is probably the reason why reveryeen called their new character Geo Grandma. Many players are absolutely in love with the new concept, and they praise the way the creator managed to redesign the character’s clothes while keeping the same color palette. The Reddit thread has attracted a lot of attention in the community as it gathered almost 5k upvotes. Numerous fans claim that they would prefer if developer HoYoverse decides to introduce a similar character like the one shown in the art. Even though it’s unlikely, there is a theoretical possibility that we get to see a female Zhongli since theGeo Archon that resides in Zhongli’s bodycould also take a shape of any other being.
Zhongli is a member of theSevenGenshin ImpactArchonswhose main job is to protect their region and keep the peace between the seven nations. He was the second Archon introduced to the game, right after the Anemo Bow user named Venti. When it comes to his power on the battlefield, many players consider him to be one of, if not the strongest character in all ofGenshin Impact. Zhongli’s ability to adapt to almost any team composition can hardly be matched by any other character in the game.
Zhongli’s last appearance on a limited banner was at the start of 2022 duringGenshin ImpactVersion 2.4. However, recent leaks have been hinting that he might receive another banner re-run fairly soon. With numerous rumors claiming that Version 3.0 will introduce only one five-star character, multiple credible leakers claim that Zhongli will most likely be part of the update’s second banner cycle.
Genshin Impactis available now for mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is currently in development with no confirmed release date.
