Friendship EXP can only be accumulated for the characters you own, and there are many ways by which you can do it. Aside from the namecards, players can also unlock character stories and voice-overs to listen to at a later date. There are 10 levels of Friendship to unlock, each one giving a different reward, with level 10 being the highest and awarding the namecard.

Raising the Friendship Level of your characters inGenshin Impactrequires you to farmCompanionship EXP. There are so many waysplayers can grab some Companionship EXPfor their characters, and it’s not just limited to your world only. Here is the method by which you may do it:

Here are the 10 levels and what each level unlocks in the game:

The “starter pack”. Some character details and voice-overs are already unlocked here.

Unlocks Character Story 1 and the second expression for Photo Mode. It also unlocks “More About (Character): I”

Unlocks Character Story 2 and “More About (Character): II”

Unlocks Character Story 3and the third expression for Photo Mode. It also unlocks a new dialogue option when the character is placed in the Serenitea Pot, and many voice-lines about other characters in the game. Also unlocks “More About (Character): III”

Unlocks Character Story 4 and “More About (Character): IV”

Unlocks all remaining Character Stories and voice-lines that are locked behind the friendship level.

Unlocks an additional dialogue option when the character is placed in the Serenitea Pot.

Unlocks the Envisaged Echoeschallenge if the character has one.

No additional unlocks.

Unlocks the Namecard for that respective character. This also helps progress the Hitherto Unknown achievement inGenshin Impact.
