The Hydro Tulpa boss is located inside a small cave underwater inGenshin Impact. To reach the boss, fast-travel to the Chemin de L’Espoir underwater Waypoint and swim west beyond the canyon to find the entrance of the cave. Keep swimming until Travelers eventually find a barrier; swim through to leave the water and enter the boss area. Here, a Teleport Waypoint can be activated to reach the boss faster.
To trigger the Hydro Tulpa boss fight, simply approach the water circle in the middle of the arena. The monster is not that difficult to beat as paying attention to some small details will make this boss fight much easier. Additionally, choosing the correctteam inGenshin Impactwill also help immensely. Upon defeating the Hydro Tulpa boss, Travelers will receiveWater that Failed to Transcend,which is a character level-up material.
How To Beat Hydro Tulpa In Genshin Impact
Beating the Hydro Tulpa is fairly easy inGenshin Impact. The boss’ movesets consist of a couple of predictable attacks that can be dodged easily. The boss is immune to Hydro damage, but other than that, beating the Hydro Tulpa should be a piece of cake.
When far away from the Hydro Tulpa, it will summon Hydro Spears and toss them towards the active character.
It can also get close to summon a Sword or a Hammer and start a few striking combos at melee range.
Finally, even if the Hydro Tulpa is away, it will get closer to quickly summon three spears around it and levitate them before slamming them down upon the active character.
Although the boss is easy, players mustbe careful when it summons small Hydro monsters around it. The Hydro Tulpa can absorb them to enhance one of their attacks, which at times can hit hard. These minions areprotected by a Hydro shieldand players shoulduse elemental hits to destroy them quickly.
