Weapon banners can be risky and costly forGenshin Impactplayers to pull from. Therefore, it’s important to understand whether a certain weapon is worth it for their desired character. InGenshin Impact2.4, the second weapon banner featuresVortex Vanquisher and Amos’ Bow. This is to support the character banner, which containsZhongli and Ganyu.
Considering there are many changes since their initial release in Version 1.1 and 1.2 (respectively), players may wonder if the featured weapons are still good for the characters or not. To understand better, players can read on.
Is Amos’ Bow Good For Ganyu In Genshin Impact?

Ganyu can greatly benefit from having Amos’ Bow as her weapon. Even after the release of other bows, none manage to shiftAmos as Ganyu’s best-in-slot. Considering the Qilin has a high base attack (fifth highest inGenshin Impact), Amos’ Bow ATK Sub-stat will be a major boost for her. Furthermore, the Adeptus can easily utilize the equipment’s passive, making it a must-have weapon for players who wish to maximize their Ganyu’s performance.
However, it’s worth noting thatthis bow doesn’t offer a CriticalSub-stat, so players may struggle to get a decent Crit ratio. Luckily, though, because Ganyu is a Cryo unit, building Critical Rate stat should be a walk in the park.
Is Vortex Vanquisher Good For Zhongli In Genshin Impact?
Shortly, the answer is “no.”Vortex Vanquisher is not good for Zhongli. To understand why, players must first understand Vortex Vanquisher’s mechanics. First, the weapon’s passive gives 20% Shield Strength, an important buff,but only works on the character holding the weapon. The other passive, which grants an ATK bonus when the character hits an enemy,only works if the wielder is on-field. So it won’t work if Zhongli is off-field. And lastly, the Geo Archon is best built on HP%, while Vortex Vanquisher offers ATK% Sub-stat instead.
So, whilethis polearm looks aesthetically best on Zhongli, it’s far from the meta. The Geo Archon is best suited as an off-field support, where he only takes field time to grant a massive shield and a decent CC. It contradicts Vortex Vanquisher’s passive and Sub-stats that offer more damage to Zhongli if he stays on the field. Therefore, the weapon is not the best choice for him. Instead, Zhongli can benefit from weapons like Staff of Homa, and Black Tassel.
