PopularGrand Theft AutoRP Twitch streamer Penta is leaving the NoPixel server and accusing administrators of overlooking abuse on the way out. Following a short ban for unrelated reasons this past week, Penta has been at the heart of escalating controversies tied to the NoPixelGrand Theft AutoRP community. Dislike between Penta, certain NoPixel players, and the server owner Koil came to a head, and it’s unlikely that rifts will be mended between them all any time soon.
Nearly a week ago, Penta was temporarilybanned from the NoPixel server. The reasons for the ban aren’t entirely clear, but are said to be related to “power gaming,” or gaining an advantage in a way that’s contradictory to the game’s roleplay focus. Either way, despite the ban being brief, it prompted an array of negative commentary from certain people. Koil is one such example, saying that while he didn’t ban Penta this time, he’s pushed for Penta to be banned in the past. Koil also went further, saying some things Penta took deeply personally.

Following his ban from NoPixel, Penta immediately said on Twitter that he was going to “check out some other servers.” It was the comments from Koil, however, and frustrations with NoPixel in general boiling over, that led the Twitch streamer to decide it might be time to move on. “How can I play there?” Penta said just yesterday, “I’m out. I think I’m done there.” Later, Penta would go on a profanity-laden rant about Koil, calling him, “pathetic,” and that his, “whole existence is just gamblingCS:GOcrates and talking **** about me.”
Penta also had some strong allegations against Koil’s management of the NoPixelGrand Theft AutoRP server. He said that Koil would ban people for behavior that he himself was never punished for. He’d go on to make comments regarding Koil and the server downplaying the seriousness of allegations againstbanned NoPixel player and streamer RatedEpicz. Suffice to say, the situation has gotten very messy.
One final comment from Penta on the subject is drawing further attention. Penta had a message for the other administrators of NoPixel, saying that “I seriously hope you wake up and realize what you’re enabling.” While he may very well be referring specifically toKoil’s often controversial server management, the backdrop of RatedEpicz' abuse allegations could imply Penta is saying NoPixel is enabling broader abuse.
There are obviously very serious allegations being thrown around in the back and forth between Penta and Koil. But someGrand Theft AutoRP players believe this is a petty feud between two popular streamers grasping to become a larger controversy. Theallegations against RatedEpiczdeserve to be taken seriously, as do claims that administrators on NoPixel are ignoring abuse. But whether Penta is leaving NoPixel because of those allegations, or just because he was banned and insulted by Koil isn’t exactly clear.
