After the game’s multiplayer was released early last month, the campaign ofHalo Infinitehas also now released. The multiplayer ofHalo Infinitereceived a largely positive reception, the campaign release has been successful. This year’s campaign has been slightly experimental in nature, featuring an open-world design that has gone over well withHalofans. This has led to widespread praise and much more interest in this installment’s singleplayer offering than the previous two titles.
Along with this open-world setting have been a number of gameplay innovations, including base capturing objectives that have seenHalo Infinitecompared toFar Cry. This has also seen a handful of new features introduced to theHaloseries that long-term fans have had to get their heads around. Halo Infinite’s New Campaign
The campaign ofHalo Infiniteoffers a level of freedom unmatched by any priorHalogame, withHalo’snew open-world settingallowing players to fight at their own pace. Expectations were cautious forHalo Infinite, not just because of the fan reception toHalo 5, but also because ofHalo Infinite’sinitial gameplay reveal, which left many concerned. At that point, it seemed as though it would have taken something special to winHalofans over, and that’s exactly what’s happened.Halo Infinite’scampaign brings a number of new ideas to the series, including the open-world setting and things likeHalo Infinite’sGrapple Shot. However, one of the more interesting inclusions in this year’sHalothat stemmed from the game’s open-world setting has been Valor, which encourages players to approachHaloin an entirely new way.
What Are Halo Infinite’s Valor Points?
InHalo Infinite, Valor can be earned by completing missions and objectives on the Tac Map. Some of the best ways to earn Valor Points are by destroyingHalo Infinite’sBanished Propaganda Towers, rescuing USNC squads, and by capturing enemy bases, in a very similar way to how the player would capture bases inFar Cry. These Forward Operating Bases are marked on the map with a red diamond, indicating that they are in enemy hands. As players progress through the campaign they will likely begin to earn Valor Points without even realizing what they did to be rewarded, but they should take note of these rewards.
Valor Points can be used to upgrade to more powerful equipment, weapons, andvehicles inHalo Infinite’scampaign.Halo infinite’ssingleplayer campaign, and in particular boss fights, can be quite tricky at times, so players may need these rewards as they progress. Valor Points are a good way to encourage players to take on missions and objectives that they may otherwise skip over, and it’s worth it forHaloplayers to take the time to earn as many points as they can.
For players who are able to save 3200 Valor Points, the ultimate reward awaits in the Rockethog. This more deadly variation of the Warthog would definitely make capturing bases easier and demonstrates the value of Valor Points if spent correctly. Valor Points can definitely help players turn the tide, especially on the higher difficulties where players need everything they can to defeat the Banished.
