Slytherin is apparently the house with the largest common room inHogwarts Legacy. Just like every other student at Hogwarts,Hogwarts Legacysorts players into one of four houses using the Sorting Hat. But whereas most students are stuck with whatever house the Sorting Hat has picked for them,Hogwarts Legacyactually gives players the opportunity to simply pick whatever house they want to join.
The four houses inHogwarts Legacyare Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff. The storyline is mostly the same regardless of which houseHogwarts Legacyplayers go with, but there are some key differences. Certain characters can only be interacted with in one house versus the other, andeach Hogwarts house has an exclusive questtied to it. The houses all have their own common rooms as well, of course, and they are not treated equal.

Reddit user anurmhvhno has been analyzing Hogwarts castle inHogwarts Legacyusing the game files. They’ve discovered some interesting information about the game in the process, including the sizes of the house common rooms. According to their research, Slytherin clearly has the largest common room in the game, whereasHufflepuff has the second-largest common room. Gryffindor and Ravenclaw common rooms are in the castle proper, whereas Slytherin and Hufflepuff are located underground, so the developers had more room to work with.
Anyone starting up aHogwarts Legacysave for the first time and are unsure about which house to go with may want to consider common room size as well now. As it stands,the most popular house inHogwarts Legacyis Slytherin, with Gryffindor in second place followed by Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. It’s possible these stats will be skewed when PS4, Switch, and Xbox One players get their hands on the game later this year, but that remains to be seen.
This isn’t the only interesting detail anurmhvhno has discovered inHogwarts Legacy. They also found out thatHogwarts castle has two inaccessible areasthat players currently can’t reach. These areas don’t seem to really be of much interest to the player and are unlikely to be hiding anything, but it’s still interesting to learn more about the Hogwarts castle map.
Hogwarts Legacyis likely hiding a lot of secretsthat have yet to be discovered by fans. As more people get their hands on the game, even more hidden details and other info will likely come to light.
Hogwarts Legacyis out now for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X with PS4 and Xbox One version coming April 4 and a Switch port dropping July 25.
