A newHonkai: Star Railleak has revealed the gameplay for upcoming four-star character Yukong, expected to release during Version 1.1. The debut of HoYoverse’s newest RPG late last month saw massive success with the game quickly racking up millions of players on launch. The sci-fi RPG billed as a spinoff of HoYoverse flagship gameHonkai Impact 3rdreleased with acast of more than 20 playable characters, both available for free and through the game’s gacha. Now, players are getting their first taste of the next members of the game’s lineup.
While HoYoverse has yet to officially reveal any future content forHonkai: Star Railpast Version 1.0, leaks have already shown off plenty of characters on the way. The game’s upcoming Version 1.1 has seen multiple leaks about its new playable characters, including Silver Wolf and Luocha as the newest five-star units. Fan-favorite Kafka has also been heavily rumored to be releasing duringStar Rail’s Version 1.2 update, alongside fellow Stellaron Hunter Blade. Now, leaks have revealed the gameplay for one of Version 1.1’s new four-star characters, Yukong.

A video shared by prominent HoYoverse leaker Blednaya shows off both a variety of animations and combatgameplay for upcoming character Yukong. Many of Yukong’s idle animations feature a small bird companion and reveal her to use a bow as her weapon. Yukong’s Skill looks to provide one targeted ally with both an ATK Boost and a DMG Boost while her Ultimate appears to deal damage while also providing Crit buffs. Previous leaks have introduced Yukong as an Imaginary element character in the Harmony Path, suggestingshe will act as a support unitin-game.
While not much is currently known about Yukong’s role withinHonkai: Star Rail, leaks about her story have already suggested a close relationship with a pre-existing character. Yukong is supposedly connected tofour-star character Tingyun, both bearing similar fox-like traits within their character designs. Yukong’s addition to the game will also bring a new member to the small roster of Imaginary element characters inStar Rail. The only currently playable Imaginary character is Welt with Version 1.1 five-star Luocha also believed to be in the Imaginary element.
Yukong’s upcoming introduction to the game comes alongside a plethora of characters leaked to be arriving to the RPG soon. A massive leak fromHonkai: Star Railin late April revealed more than10 characters set to arrive toStar Railin future updates. The leak notably bears mostly different characters from the previously-mentioned character leaks, including a new version of starter character Dan Heng and the heavily rumored Fu Xuan.Honkai: Star Rail’s launch has already seen massive success and a steady stream of characters looks to keep the game’s momentum going.
Honkai: Star Railis available now for PC and mobile devices. PS4 and PS5 versions are in development.
