You’ll fight this boss alongside other players, winningawards such as Diamonds, Invite Letters for getting new characters, Hero Essence, and more. Where to Find Primal Lord in AFK Journey
To take on the mighty Primal Lord, you’ll need to have unlocked the Dark Forest area, specificallyDark Forest 5. This area will open up at the beginning of the Merlin’s “Ward” quest, which is located near the top of Holistone.
Keep in mind that before you can reach Primal Lord in the Dark Forest, you’ll need to go up against a few other bosses, including a few Hypofiends around level 65, level 71, and much higher. Primal Lord will be aroundlevel 90, so you’ll need to be prepared before you start the battle byleveling up and ascending your characters.
Best Team for Primal Lord in AFK Journey
As anElite Challenge, the battle against Primal Lord is not an easy one. You’ll need to verify you choose the right characters to heal, deal damage, and debuff the boss. Here are some of the best options, as well as a few alternatives in case you are missing the character.
Abilities
Reinier, Thoran, Kruger
Can debuff Primal Lord since they have the ability to buff their stats
Smokey & Meerky, Koko, Hewynn, Damian
Support; Can provide healing to the whole team, as well as DMG Reduction
Odie, Marilee, Cecia
Marksman, Main DPS; Will deal the majority of damage while staying alive
Korin, Seth
Warrior or Rogue, Sub-DPS; Will provide additional damage

Best Formation for Primal Lord in AFK Journey
When taking on Primal Lord, you’ll need to keep in mind the different attacks and abilities they will use. During the fight, they will use a swipe attack that’ll hit most of your characters in the front row. They also have an ability that will allow them to charge towards one of your farthest characters on the stage. Some of their skills will summon a pack of ghost wolves that cannot be attacked, and will deal great damage to your team, especially those who are the farthest.
Primal Lord will also use an attack that damages all of your team members within a 1-tile arc, and also appliesinterruption. With all of this in mind, the best set up to have is as follows:
