The Tayu’itar is a heavily-armed mech that acts as a boss inGranblue Fantasy: Relink. It is surprisingly mobile for its size, and it can pin the crew down with its overwhelming firepower, making it a tricky enemy to beat.
These mechs appear as hunt targets for quests aftercompletingGranblue Fantasy: Relink’sstory, and players will need to fight them to get the coveted Tayu’Itar Head Pieces. If you’re looking to get the latter or simply having trouble beating a Tayu’Itar on your own, here’s a guide covering their weaknesses and other things you need to know about them.

Tayu’Itar Weakpoints
Like other big bosses in the game, you’ll want to target a Tayu’itar’s weakpoints to deal the most damage. When fighting one of these machines, your main targets should be theexposed cores on the legs. The Tayu’itar will occasionally vent energy from its shins, exposing the electrical systems within. Break all four of them, and the big bot will get incapacitated for a short while, giving you the chance tobreak its head.
The head is another major weakpoint, and breaking it will give you a chance fora Tayu’itarHead Unit drop. You’ll need plenty of these in the future once youstart getting high-quality Sigilsand make better weapons, so get into the habit of breaking the boss' head early so you won’t have to scramble for Tayu’itar Head Units when the time comes. If you’re having horrible luck when it comes to part drops, you can always get some head units by buying them from Siero, assuming she has some in stock.

Best Characters To Use Against Tayu’itar
Tayu’itars arevulnerable toDark damage,so you’ll ideally want to bring at least one character who primarily deals this elemental damage type — one suchGBF Relinkcharacter is Narmaya. Not only does she deal tremendous DPS, but she can also stick to a Tayu’itar like glue thanks to her Kyokasuigetsu skill, which lets her dash onto targets and inflict respectable damage.
Rosettais another solid Dark unit for dealing with a Tayu’itar. Her roses can hold the boss' attention, giving the rest of the team ample time to break its legs and head without worrying about incoming attacks. Apart from that, Rosetta also has a ton of other utility-based skills that can greatly enhance the damage output and survivability of everyone else in the crew.

Vaseragacan work as a great DPS/Tank in a Tayu’itar fight with his ability to inflict Slow and large amounts of Stun. The damage he can deal is massive, but to reach this point, he must remain in very low health. Unless you have the Life on the Line Sigil equipped, parties with healers may mess with his damage rotations, so consider this whenbuilding a party of AI-controlled charactersbefore jumping into a Tayu’Itar fight as Vaseraga.
